Neck Pain

What are the causes of neck pain? How can neck pain be treated and what are the benefits of B-Cure Laser?

We do not realize how much we use our neck until something goes wrong.

Neck pain is a very common problem, and in the past few years, the use of low- level laser has become a popular and effective treatment worldwide.

Approximately 70% of the population experiences neck pain at some point during their lifetime. Constant pressure on the neck vertebrae as a result of lengthy driving, improper posture while sitting at the computer, sitting underneath the air conditioner, lifting heavy loads and many other factors can cause neck pain, migraines, and project pain to the shoulders, arms, and forearms.

Causes of Neck Pain

A number of disorders, injuries and diseases can cause pain. Deterioration of the neck vertebrae, whiplash injury due to trauma causing the head to move forward and backward very rapidly, or from a herniated disc between the neck vertebrae, placing pressure on a nerve.

Neck pain can also evolve from infections connected to the throat, lymph glands, meningitis or other illnesses and medical conditions such as fibromyalgia, polymyalgia, and arthritis.

How Can Neck Pain be Treated?

Neck pain may be treated via rest, exercise, massage, physical therapy, chiropractic treatment, acupuncture, cortisone injections, and anesthetic creams.

B-Cure Laser for Treating Neck Pain

Today, many patients seek relief from neck pain using low-level laser therapy (LLLT).

Research has shown that LLLT is an effective therapy for alleviating pain in musculoskeletal injuries. (Bjordal 2003; Marini 2010; Öz 2010) and arthritis  (Brosseau 2005).

Dr. Roberta Chow from the University of Sydney, Australia, surveyed data from 16 controlled trials totaling 820 people, treated for neck pain using LLLT.

People suffering from chronic neck pain who underwent laser treatments were four times more likely to experience reduced pain than those treated with a placebo.

“The results of LLLT in this review compare favorably with other widely used therapies and especially with pharmacological interventions, for which evidence is sparse and side effects are common.” (The Lancet).

Neck pain is predicted to be a medical condition of increasing importance in the USA and other countries due to a growing elderly population. Therefore, a treatment that does not rely on drug intervention and has no apparent side effects is desirable.

A clinical study on the B-Cure Laser carried out at Parma University in Italy proved the significant efficacy of B-Cure Laser for the treatment of joints.

B-Cure Laser for the Treatment of Neck Pain

B-Cure Laser provides breakthrough laser therapy, offering the power of some professional lasers as used in clinics, in a lightweight portable device that may be used from the comfort of home.

The treatment is safe, effective and may provide lasting pain relief.

B-Cure Laser’s restorative power is provided by advanced laser technology.

B-Cure Laser should be placed in contact with the skin allowing the photon energy to penetrate the tissues. This stimulates the body to produce adenosine triphosphate otherwise known as ATP, which carries energy within the cells. The ATP interacts with various biomolecules inside the cells promoting normal cell function and enhancing the body’s natural processes.

Patients recover from muscular, skeletal, and nerve injuries as cells regenerate faster and function better.

Research has proved that using the B-Cure Laser for painful knee conditions provides cells with more energy to perform their functions.

Therapeutic effects of LLLT (laser phototherapy) include:

  • Increased production of ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate)
  • Increased cellular metabolism
  • Increased collagen production
  • Increased enzyme production
  • Increased protein synthesis
  • Improved blood circulation
  • Improved lymphatic flow and drainage
  • Reduced inflammation

All this serves to boost the body’s natural healing power, targeting the root causes of pain and providing rapid relief.

B-Cure Laser is unique due to it’s beam that covers a surface of 4.5 cm, making it possible to treat a wide range of painful conditions easily, effectively and quickly.

B-Cure Laser is now available for home use and has been proven clinically effective and safe. The treatment has no known side effects and is a non-invasive method for treating many types of orthopedic conditions.

B-Cure Laser is safe for all ages, and does not require protective eyewear during use.

What are the benefits of B-Cure Laser?

  • May reduce chronic pain
  • Non-invasive and non-surgical treatment
  • Suitable for all ages
  • No known side effects
  • Clinically proven by many studies
  • Easy and safe for home use

Treatment Protocol

Place the device under the earlobe for a duration of 8 minutes.

After completing the treatment set the device for an additional 8 minutes and treat the area under the earlobe on the other side of the neck.

After completing the treatment set the device for an additional 8 minutes and place it along the cervical spine. Treat for a further 8 minutes without movement.

Experience shows that pain relief may be expected within days.

For ease of use, an adjustable stand is available to stabilize the device and provide treatment without movement, allowing the laser beam to penetrate deeply into the tissues.

For optimal results, repeat the treatment at least twice a day.

Place the device on the following areas, for 6-8 minutes each: Lengthwise, along the vertebra

Each side of the neck, lengthwise, under the earlobe, at the indentation behind the jaw

Three (3) treatments points, for a total of 18-24 minutes during each treatment session. Treat 2-4 times a day

It is advisable to use the adjustable B-Cure Laser stand, to comfortably treat remote and hard to reach areas.
